General Practitioner Job Fair tackles shortage

All West Flemish GP circles are supporting the initiative. They also hope to gain a clearer picture of which regions are more or less popular. It also saves young doctors time that would otherwise be spent on research or application letters.

More demand than supply

Twenty candidates registered for the job fair. So there is plenty of choice for them. First they learn at the event how to approach such an application. They then make contacts with providers from their preferred region or another area. General practitioners who want to retire, but are postponing it, also search the stock market for a successor.
