TOembraced by the beauty of the Gulf of Naples, on board the MSC Fantasia, the Gazzetta Sports Awards also in this ninth edition celebrated the excellence of Italian sport, with La Gazzetta dello Sport and the patronage of CONI and the Italian Paralympic Committee.
Gazzetta Sports Awards 2023: all the awards
Many prizes awarded by the 2023 jury: Man of the Year Gianmarco Tamberi, Woman of the Year Sofia RaffaeliCoach of the Year Luciano Spalletti, Napoli Football Team of the Year award which was collected by President De Laurentis and Captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Paralympic Athlete of the Year is Ambra Sabatini.
The Exploit of the Year was won by the 2023 MotoGP world champion Francesco Bagnaia and the Italian Davis Cup national team, who wrote sporting history by winning after 47 years. The prize awarded to Francesco Bagnaia was collected by the Sports Director Paolo Ciabatti while for the Italian national team of the Devis Cup the President of the Italian Tennis Federation, Angelo Binaghi and the coach Filippo Volandri were present.

Furthermore, La Gazzetta dello Sport awarded the special Legend awards to Fabio Cannavaro and Massimiliano Rosolino. Inter CEO Giuseppe Marotta collected the Performance of the Year award won by Lautaro Martinez.
The Gazzetta Sports Awards 2023 were presented by presenter Geppi Cucciari together with Autogol and will be broadcast on 16 December at 11.15pm on La7on 21 December at 11pm on La7d and from 16 December on the Gazzetta website and on the Facebook page of La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Gazzetta Sports Awards are created with the collaboration of important corporate and institutional partners. Also for this IX Edition, the winners in the respective categories will receive the Awards ring, designed exclusively by Maison Damiani.
