Thousands of people took part in the 20th edition of Gay Pride in the Israeli capital Jerusalem today. After threats against the organizers, the Pride marched through the city under high police guard. Thousands of police officers were on the scene “to ensure the safety of the participants and to maintain public order,” the police confirmed in a statement.
