Gauthier Servranckx wins solo at BK Junioren in Moorslede

Around 2.30 pm the 150 participants shot out of the starting blocks for 15 laps of more than 8 kilometers, good for 127 kilometers. Only in the fourth round was a real leading group formed. Nine riders, including five people from West Flanders, quickly build up a big lead. There were counter-attacks, including from Matis De Meijts and Mats Devry, but the gap kept getting bigger.

A little later in the race, Gauthier Servranckx and Sil Van Daele from Oudenaarde were able to tear themselves away from the other seven. In the last lap, at 6 kilometers from the end, Servranckx was also able to shake off Van Daele. He won solo. In the meantime, the peloton had already come very close to the leading group. Kamiel Eeman overtook Yarno Van Herck in the sprint for second place.

Servranckx previously finished 5th in the Tour of Flanders.
