Gascoigne meets Prince Williams

Prince William was in Bournemouth today, on his traditional visit to the homeless, and had a surprising encounter in a diner in the United Kingdom. In fact, among those present there was also the English football legend Paul Gascoigne. The prince and the former Lazio footballer were filmed by the cameras while they greeted each other in front of the numerous witnesses of the meeting.

RADIANT

A beaming Gascoigne, who said he lives in nearby Sandbanks, replied that he was “much better” before leaning down to hug the prince and kiss him on the cheek. In June, Prince William launched a five-year campaign to combat homelessness, stressing that it should not exist in a modern, progressive society. In particular, Pret UK is among nine organizations that have committed to hiring homeless or at-risk people and donating unsold food to support this initiative. Additionally, Prince William visited the Vitality Stadium to test first-hand AFC Bournemouth’s efforts in helping people at risk of homelessness. Club members have shared their plans for community work over the next five years as part of the Prince’s Homewards project.
