Gas supply through Nord Stream 1 unchanged | Abroad

The gas pipeline was restarted on Thursday after an annual maintenance. It was feared that Moscow would use the maintenance to turn the tap off permanently, but that turned out not to be the case. For example, on Thursday and this morning as much gas flowed to Germany as for maintenance.

This means that the supply of gas through Nord Stream 1 is still only 40 percent of the total capacity. In June, capacity was reduced by 60 percent, resulting in another gas price surge in Europe.
