Gas price to all-time high: will Gazprom compensate for reduced capacity on Nord Stream 1 via Ukrainian-Slovak pipeline?

Russian state-owned company Gazprom has reduced the flow of gas to Germany through the Nord Stream 1 pipeline. That was announced on Tuesday and on Wednesday morning the European gas price rose to an absolute record. The same morning, it also appears that Gazprom has booked extra capacity to transport more gas via the Transgas pipeline, which runs through Ukraine and Slovakia, among other places.
