In the affected zone, all windows on the ground floor have been closed in the meantime. The zone is closed with side gates and is not accessible. Police surveillance ends in the afternoon.
Farys started repairing the water mains last night. That went smoothly, everything has been restored. The residents have access to water again, but this is not yet drinkable. This morning samples of the water were taken, tomorrow morning this will happen again. If the results are good, potable water may be released again from Monday. In the meantime, residents can still pick up bottled water between 09:00 and 18:00 in Ooststraat 71.
