Gamerlegion misses playoffs in CS:GO league ESL Pro League

In the first group of the “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” league ESL Pro League, Gamerlegion failed at the last hurdle. Against Furia, the Berlin organization only kept up on the first map.

“These guys played like we used to. They like to push a lot,” said Furia coach Nicholas “guerri” Nogueira in the post-game interview about Gamerlegion. “We take too long to make decisions. But we’re improving.”

Despite the departure of two important players, Gamerlegion narrowly missed entering the arena at IEM Cologne. The team followed suit in the EPL against Greyhound, but then suffered two defeats against Movistar Riders and Astralis.

In a tight series, Gamerlegion threw Ninjas in Pajamas out of the tournament. However, the team did not use the last chance against Furia and lost 0:2 (15:19; 4:16).

The group victory went easily to Team Vitality. The co-favorite didn’t give up a single card in three series and clearly beat the surprise team Movistar Riders 2-0 (16-10; 16-7) in the upper bracket final.
