AZ has found a new shirt sponsor and main partner in gambling company Kansino. The company that focuses on online casino will start working with the Alkmaarders from 1 July.
Kansino takes over AFAS Software as shirt sponsor after twelve years. General director Robert Eenhoorn: “Kansino is a modern and ambitious company, which, like us, is enormously motivated to continue to grow strongly. This collaboration lays a solid foundation for the future and gives AZ the space to take another step in its ambitions.”
Alkmaar Zaanstreek Foundation
AZ and Kasino want to make an active contribution to the club’s social objectives through the Alkmaar Zaanstreek Foundation. The logo of that foundation is on shirts of fans under the age of 18. “With this initiative, we can support several social goals. What initiatives these are will be presented in the short term. In addition to an initial joint financial contribution, AZ will also make a contribution to the foundation for each shirt sold,” says Eenhoorn.

Kansino has received a license from the government to legally offer online games of chance. “Increasing Kansino’s brand awareness will help consumers play in a safe environment,” said Klas Winberg, CEO of Play North, Kansino’s parent company. “The regulated gaming market leads to better protection for consumers. In addition, we are convinced that with extensive partnerships such as this we can make Dutch sport stand out even more.”
Logistics service provider CTS Group is the new main sponsor of the youth academy. More partners will be announced soon.
