The immediate exit from the youth traffic school on Sachsendamm was averted. Facility may stay in Berlin-Schoeneberg for one year longer.

The district office and the owner of the 4500 square meter area, the company Krieger, have agreed that the school can remain on the property until the summer of 2023.

This was preceded by an application by the CDU parliamentary group in the district assembly (BVV). A Krieger spokeswoman confirmed the compromise when asked by BZ. The company has long-term plans to build a high-rise building on the site.

“We are happy for Schöneberg’s youngest road users that the youth traffic school will be maintained for at least another year,” says CDU parliamentary group leader Daniel Dittmar.
