The mobility in the transfer continues in Galatasaray. The management, which placed the first place in the search for the number 6, brought the front libero Fredrik Midtsjö, whom Okan Buruk insisted on, to Istanbul.

Galatasaray reached an agreement for Fredrik Midtsjo, who plays for AZ Alkmaar after Sergio Oliveira. For the Norwegian football player, 3.5 million euros will be paid to the Dutch team. Galatasaray will also pay 1 million euros per year to the 28-year-old football player, with whom he will sign a 3-year contract.
WHO IS FREDRIK MIDTSJÖ?
Fredrik Midtsjö was born on August 11, 1993 in the Stjørdal district of Trøndelag, Norway. He started football in the infrastructure of Stjørdals-Blink.
He joined Rosenborg’s infrastructure from Stjørdals-Blink in November 2017. He made his debut for Rosenborg at the age of 16 against his former team Stjørdals-Blink in the Norwegian Cup. Sarpsborg made his debut in Tippeligaen and made his European debut against Breidablik in the 2011-12 Champions League qualifiers.
On 28 August 2011, Midtsjö signed an official contract with Rosenborg’s A team. He also scored his first goal in 2011 with a shot from afar against Odd.
After the transfer of Rosenborg, he was loaned to minor league team Ranheim in 2012.
Returning to Rosenborg after the Ranheim adventure, Midtsjö broke his leg in the match with the second team and this injury kept him away from the field for 7 months. After recovering from injury, he was sent on loan to Sandnes Ulf in 2014.
He made his debut for Sandnes on 30 March 2014 against Odd. On April 30, he scored a goal in the match they defeated Stabaek 2-1. He managed to score 5 goals while playing in 28 games with Sandnes.
Returning to Rosenborg after his loan contract expired, Midtsjö was now part of the A team. On 29 June 2016, he signed a new 4-year contract with his team. On October 24, 2016, he was nominated for the Kniksen Award as the best midfielder in Tippeligaen. Later, his teammate Mike Jensen won the award.
