Transfer offensive at the last minute: The Turkish soccer record champions Galatasaray Istanbul struck again shortly before the transfer window closed in Turkey.
The club is loaning Argentinian striker Mauro Icardi from French champions Paris St. Germain and ex-Bremen Milot Rashica from Norwich City until the end of the season, as well as Spaniard Juan Mata from English record champions Manchester United.
Mata signed a two-year contract with the traditional club, which is seventh in the table after five games in the SüperLig.
Icardi has hardly had a chance with the Parisian star ensemble in the past two years, in Istanbul he will receive a salary of 6.75 million euros by the end of the season, according to the club. PSG pays six million of them.
