Important notes from the statements of Galatasaray President Burak Elmas;

“I didn’t come to the fore out of respect for the election process. I’ve never talked about release until today. However, false news about the election process is trying to create perceptions. Our courtesy was misunderstood.”

“As a result of our General Assembly, our board of directors was not released from an administrative aspect. It was not accepted in the budget we presented. We came before the members and shared, “In case of not being acquitted, an Ordinary General Assembly will be held within 30 days.”

“WE MADE THE ELECTION DECISION TO OPEN THE FRONT OF G.SARAY”

“When the budget is not approved, we normally have to wait for the minutes of the general assembly, but we decided to hold elections on April 23, April 30 to pave the way for Galatasaray without a budget.”

“A decision has been made that we can also enter the election. This surprised us because we did not have such a request.”

“Before the injunction was issued, there were those who knew that such a decision would come. I immediately called our lawyers and asked for information, but the injunction was not visible in the system.”

“Afterwards, we were criticized for not making an election decision from 87/22, but this was not legally possible and we had to take the election decision from 28/1.”

“Afterwards, very interesting processes developed. An inspection came from the STI. As a result of the inspection, we learned that the Istanbul Governor’s Office had applied for an injunction request after our articles of the statute and some of the articles they did not see as legal.”

“The precaution was lifted, but our member filed an appeal. While we were unaware, things started to circulate about such a decision around 4 pm. Whoever served, they knew about this decision the day before. Then the lynching started against us. I have nothing to do with this decision.”
