Mauro Icardi, who played a leading role in last season’s championship, has covered his costs to the club since July 30, when he signed a new contract.
Icardi, who received a transfer fee from PSG for 10 million euros, signed a 3-year contract with Galatasaray for 6 million euros annually.
The star striker, whose cost amounted to 28 million euros, enabled his team to participate in the Champions League and 24.5 million euros entered G.Saray’s coffers.
