Galatasaray Nef Braian joins Angola – Breaking Basketball news



Galatasaray Nef added Colombian Braian Alexander Angola-Rodas, who spent the last season in Greece’s AEK team as the 6th foreign player within the scope of transfer efforts for the 2022-23 season, and can play in shooting guard and small forward positions, for a year.


WHO IS BRAIAN ALEXANDER ANGOLA-RODAS?


He was born in 1994 in Colombia. Braian, who loves to play basketball, decided to go to the USA at the age of 14 to play basketball at a higher level, although he did not speak English when he was 14. He left his family and spent his high school years in the Findlay-Prep school, which is famous for its basketball program in Nevada.


He continued his college education and basketball career at North Idaho College in 2014. After his remarkable performance at the end of two years here, Braian Angola, who received offers from many NCAA teams, transferred to the Florida State team, where he would play between 2016-2018.


After his college career, he played for the Orlando Magic in the NBA Summer League in the summer of 2018. Unable to find a place in the drafts, he transferred to Leakland Magic, one of the NBA G League teams, in October 2018.


At the beginning of the 2019/2020 season, he signed with Filou Oostende to continue his career in Europe and won the Belgian League championship with his team. Signing with Partizan in 2020, Braian transferred to Israeli league teams Ironi Nes Ziona in November.


At the beginning of last season, he signed a 2-year contract with the Greek team AEK. He played with averages of 13 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.7 assists in the matches he played here.
