Galatasaray made the first training of the new season preparations at Florya Metin Oktay Facilities. Coach Okan Buruk addressed his players before training. Stating that the team aims to reveal its best potential, Buruk said that their only goal is the championship.

Okan Buruk: I want a team that is 100 percent prepared and will show itself to the fans on the field. I believe you will give your 100% on the field. Our aim is to reveal your true potential, and we will achieve this together. Our only goal is the championship, we will not think about anything else.
A year without Europe, this is of course sad for Galatasaray. Galatasaray is a team that has always been used to playing in Europe, but only one game a week until the cup. A different season begins. There will be league break again in mid-November.
