More and more players are returning to PSV. In recent weeks, trainer Roger Schmidt had to improvise regularly, but in the run-up to Sunday’s game against Heracles, he sees two players return.
“Armando Obispo will definitely return tomorrow. Cody Gakpo is training with the group for the first time today. Phillipp Mwene is still absent tomorrow. So are Maxi Romero, André Ramalho, Ryan Thomas and Richard Ledezma. Ramalho is expected to return after the international break at the end of March,” Schmidt told a press conference on Saturday.

The people of Eindhoven qualified for the cup final last week and that will not be easy, Schmidt knows. “Ajax is the hardest opponent you can face. We have already beaten them once in the final for the Johan Cruijff scale in the Arena. Now we have to show it in De Kuip.”
Heracles
PSV saw Ajax lose points in the competition last weekend and is now only two points behind the team from Amsterdam. There are no excuses for PSV against Heracles on Sunday. There has to be won. But according to Schmidt, every match must be won by the people of Eindhoven. “After 1.5 years of PSV, I know that all matches have to be won. Heracles is very disciplined and physically one of the better teams. We have to be ready for that.”
