According to animal rights organization GAIA, it is not correct that the warranty period for pets is doubled. She is responding to communication from State Secretary for Consumer Protection Alexia Bertrand (Open Vld) following the vote on a bill she wrote in the House. “The bill is tailor-made for organized bread breeding,” says GAIA chairman Michel Vandenbosch.
