More than eight out of ten Belgians agree. “With a vaccine or odor detection in the slaughterhouse, there are plenty of alternatives to save newborn piglets from hellish pain. The fact that castration without anesthesia is still allowed in our country is the biggest frustration in 30 years of GAIA.”
