Gabor Shoes AG has appointed Stefan Blöchinger as the new board member responsible for finance and administration.
He succeeds Martin Hofmann, “whose contract was not extended as part of the Gabor age regulations,” said the shoe supplier from Rosenheim on Tuesday. Hofmann remains active as a consultant.
In addition to the finance department, Blöchinger will also be in charge of human resources, IT and logistics. He has been with the company since March and assumed his current position at the beginning of August.
Previously, Blöchinger was CFO at Oettinger Davidoff AG in Basel. Prior to that, he held various positions for most of his career at Triumph. Among other things, he worked as CFO for the Swiss lingerie brand.
