The clothing supplier Fynch-Hatton Textil-Handelsgesellschaft mbH, based in Mönchengladbach, will also be selling its products in Austria from next spring. The company plans to “present its brand world comprehensively in its own showroom in Salzburg from April 1, 2023 and to get even closer to our customers through direct contact,” explained Christoph Brandts, Managing Director Sales International, in a statement published on Friday.
The step underscores “consistently the merging of menswear and womenswear and the uniform presentation of the brand universe,” explained the clothing supplier, who had already taken over sales in Germany this year. The company also announced that it would open “further areas and shop-in-shops in Austria” as part of its expansion strategy.
With the decision for self-distribution, the long-standing partnership with the Salzburg-based Kucharz Modehandelsagentur GmbH, which was previously responsible for the distribution of the label in Austria, ends. Since the beginning of the cooperation in 2016, the “leading trading agency for men’s fashion in Austria” has “laid the foundation for the further development of the brand”, emphasized Sales Director Brandts.
“We would like to expressly thank the Kucharz agency for the many years of excellent cooperation,” explained Fynch Hatton CEO Mathias Eckert. “Thanks to a consistent sales strategy and clear principles, the well-known fashion agency has succeeded in establishing Fynch-Hatton in the Austrian retail sector. The 120 square meter shop-in-shop area in the Kastner & Öhler headquarters in Graz is just one example the successes that we were able to achieve in cooperation with Kuharz.”
