The clothing supplier Fynch-Hatton Textil-Handelsgesellschaft mbH, based in Mönchengladbach, was able to grow strongly in the 2022 financial year. The company announced on Tuesday that sales had increased by 40.1 percent compared to the previous year to a level of EUR 61.9 million. Fynch-Hatton has thus “doubled its total sales every two years”. According to the company, earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were “in the good single digits”.
The clothing supplier saw the current results as confirmation of its course. In 2020, for example, he expanded his range to include women’s fashion and has since opened up other new product categories. In addition, own sales structures with new teams and showrooms were set up in important markets.
CEO Mathias Eckert was correspondingly satisfied: “We are very pleased with the positive conclusion of the past financial year and with the success that is anything but a matter of course, especially in challenging times like these,” he said in a statement. “In the last two years we have made courageous decisions and carried out important restructuring, the correctness of which is confirmed by the positive balance sheet.”
