FW23/24 with Norrøna: trollveggen Rescue collection

The Norrøna trollveggen Rescue collection is known in the mountain sports sector for the highest quality, durability, innovative functionality and weather protection. In order to optimize the line as best as possible for all requirements, it first had to be tested under the most adverse conditions. Therefore, a number of 200 jackets were sent to the Norwegian Alpine Mountain Rescue Service NARG, creating a collaboration in which NARG members are still part of Norrøna’s Extreme User Program today.

To develop products of the highest quality, we need to be able to test them in the most extreme conditions. That’s exactly why we sent green trollveggen Gore-Tex jackets to the Norwegian Alpine Rescue Team in 2010.

About NARG

The Norwegian Alpine Rescue Group is a group of 200 volunteers working with the Royal Norwegian Air Force’s 330 Squadron. With their work, they take on the most difficult missions in the mountains where no one else can help. Since 2010, Norrøna has supported this mission with extremely durable workwear in colors specifically developed for NARG that deliver optimized visibility in harsh weather conditions.

Clothing for the most extreme conditions

Divided into two categories, the line is presented in two colorways, a bolder palette for rescue teams and organizations and another for individual use. The trollveggen Gore-Tex Pro Rescue Jacket is extremely durable, waterproof and offers the highest level of protection for demanding operations.

The trollveggen flex1 Rescue Pants offer all the necessary features for both mountain sports and rescue operations, including freedom of movement, durability and high breathability.

The trollveggen Thermo100 Rescue Hood is an extremely warm, synthetic insulation jacket and impresses with excellent wind protection and low weight thanks to the nylon outer material.
