The anger at AZ was immensely in the Johan Cruijff Arena after the 2-2 draw in the North Holland Derby against Ajax. The Alkmaarse arrows were aimed at referee Dennis Higler and the VAR on service. Higler gave Alexandre Penetra a second yellow card very unjustly in the 77th minute, so AZ could not even have a minute from the Man-Meer situation that had arisen after Anton Gaaei’s red card.
