Brute force, the Argentine physical theater company premiered “Aven” worldwide at the end of December. The success is continuous and the proposal continues to be defined as an adventure, a show where all the passion and experience is put into it. In that sense, the word “Oven” It does not have a concrete meaning, it is abstract, a mixture of adventure and paradise.
“We seek to be free, recreate elements and effects of nature. Aven is playful, and with a loving look, she seeks to recover that beauty that is already strange to us, but moves us to tears”, define the artists and add: “We seek that essence: dance, fly, float in the universe. We recreate basic, essential, simple elements, and we plunge with them in that search”.
The technique and setting is an essential point of the event, the artists affirm: “The proposal of the show is to play with these beings of the universe, with these natural phenomena in an extremely wild, primitive and elemental way. A trip that attacks the five senses and it crashes you against your own happiness. For this, action machines were created and artificial nature in motion was generated, which takes the viewer into a bottomless abyss. At the same time, it seeks to have the prints of the shoes of those who participate marked in the air”.
“With AVEN, we discovered some things that make us extremely happy: dancing surrounded by butterflies, traveling inside a whale, standing without gravity on planet Earth, traveling through the universe, flying through a waterfall, entering a wind tunnel in a upside down dance machine There is nothing more elementary than this, and nothing less sophisticated or intellectual. AVEN is basically human. No gender, no age, no cultural barriers. No floor”, explained the creators of the event.
The show takes place from Wednesday to Sunday in the Sala Sinpiso of the GEBA club, located at Julio A. Noble 4100 and the corner of Figueroa Alcorta avenue. The functions are for people over 8 years of age, but the last function on Friday, admission is exclusively for people over 18 years of age.
