Füchse Berlin are the only team to remain undefeated in the European League. On Tuesday evening, in front of 4,517 spectators in the Max-Schmeling-Halle, the Bundesliga handball team beat HC Eurofarm Pelister from Bitola in North Macedonia by 34:25 (18:12).

The foxes were already the winners of group D before the game and qualified for the round of 16. Best Berlin throwers were Mathias Gidsel with six and Milos Vujovic with five goals.

The game started very evenly at first. It took the hosts a few minutes to get into the game. And so they were initially 2:4 behind. But then the offensive gained momentum.

When the guests took out their keeper and allowed themselves several turnovers in a row, the foxes punished this with simple goals from speed counterattacks.

With a 5:0 run in the middle of the first half, the hosts were able to break away for the first time. The foxes could even afford the luxury of giving away their two seven-meter throws. Both Vujovic and Robert Weber failed due to guest keeper Urban Lesjak.

On the other side, Füchse keeper Dejan Milosavljev also made some strong saves.

Even after the change of sides, the hosts were initially quite negligent with their chances. However, the guests could not benefit from this because they managed even less offensively.

The Berliners pulled away ten minutes before the end to 28:18. And they then brought it to the finish with ease.
