The Aschaffenburg clothing supplier Fuchs & Schmitt GmbH & Co. KG is expanding its range. The outdoor specialist announced on Tuesday that the first men’s fashion collection from the Fuchs Schmitt brand will be launched for the Autumn/Winter 2023 season. According to the company, it should consist of “25 to 30 jackets and lifestyle items”.
Managing Director Andrea Krumme explained the background to the step: “We developed the Fuchs Schmitt men’s collection based on the expertise of Fuchs Schmitt Damen due to the varied demand from retailers. The experience from women’s wear gives us the opportunity to support men in a variety of ways, from urban to functional and always up to date,” she explained in a statement.
With the premiere in the men’s fashion segment, the brand is also modernizing its appearance. “Conceptually, the product is accompanied by a unique shop design and marketing materials,” explained Krumme. “We would like to inspire our dealers with a new concept that connects the women’s and men’s worlds with each other through ‘pop-ups’. In this way, women’s ready-to-wear styles reflect the men’s and the retailer can competently build up a thematic gender world.”
Fuchs Schmitt also received a new logo: “In order to take account of the new focus on men’s and women’s wear, a rebranding was initiated to accompany the creation of the collection and the Fuchs Schmitt logo was redesigned,” the company explained. In the future, the “double fox head” will reflect “the new brand identity” and is “symbolic for the two Fuchs-Schmitt worlds”.
