Rental professional “totally deeply relaxed”
In May 2021, Dominik Kohr’s loan to FSV Mainz 05, which was originally agreed until last summer, was extended by another year. The 28-year-old midfielder, who is still under contract with the regular club Eintracht Frankfurt until 2024, has played 30 games for the “zero fives” since the second half of the 2020/21 season (one goal, three assists) and was mostly seeded. That’s why Kohr doesn’t really want to leave the club anymore, although he knows that the decision isn’t his alone.
“Of course I can imagine staying. But Frankfurt has the upper hand. We’ll sit down around a table in the summer and see how it goes for me,” Kohr said (quoted via “Image”) in a digital media round. The Mainz sports director Christian Heidel and sports director Martin Schmidt “get it, how comfortable I feel here. I’m not the type to go and say: ‘Call Frankfurt.’”

The 2017 European U21 champion (quoted via “Frankfurter Rundschau”) but made it clear: “I felt very comfortable from day one. I got the confidence I need as a player. I enjoy the time here.”
I can already imagine that Dome Bock has it. Seen from the outside, the standing of the coach, the team and the club seems to be quite high. He also seems to me as if he feels comfortable in a small club with a quiet environment (where he can still play BL for decent money), and also close to home.
The Mateta million will probably help to compensate for the corona losses. For VVL and purchases you will need some more income. …
