Until the end of October, the government will give 30 euro cents per liter of fuel as a gift and TotalEnergies will add another 20 euro cents in its stations. As a result, the ‘French’ petrol and diesel is in danger of flirting with just 1.5 euros liter per liter in the coming weeks. To the great concern of the Belgian federation BRAFCO: “The Belgian fuel excise duty must now be reduced to the European minimum, otherwise we will be powerless against the French.”
