«Cybersecurity is a constantly growing field and women are still underrepresented», says Giulia Amico di Meane, School Director of Talent Garden. “In this context, we attach great importance to the development of new skills necessary for a labor market in search of well-trained personnel.”

A significant fact: in the cyber sector, globally, women are only 24%. Yet there is plenty of room for everyone, men and women: according to the National Cybersecurity Agency, over 100,000 specialized workers are needed in Italy. Just think of how many companies have recently been victims of hacker attacks to understand the need to intervene.

Thirteen week course

The course will start on June 5 and will last for 13 weeks, with theoretical lessons, laboratories, practical experiences, development of soft skills and communication skills. You will learn basic notions of hardware, software and operating systems, design and resolution of network problems, history of hackers, study of malware, construction of secure architectures, IT security design.

No previous experience is needed, those who apply will have to participate in a technical and motivational interview. Through the Deep-Cybersecurity Bootcamp program, the 10 women selected at the end of the course will be ready as Cybersecurity Analysts to be absorbed by the job market.
