The political missteps in a campaign year are usual, and more notorious. But in digital times, they go viral. The massiveness that the parties and candidates seek, to give their messages and proposals greater reach -ideally at a low cost-, is a double-edged sword that has high political costs for opposition when it also magnifies errors.
That was what happened weeks ago with the launch spot of the lawyer Fernando Burlando as a candidate for governor of the province of Buenos Aires. NEWS warned that there, the media lawyer appeared embracing José Luis Auge, one of the members of the Los Horneros gang, assassins of Cabezas, whom he defended when he began his career.
