From next week vaccination against monkey pox possible after high-risk contact

Healthcare providers and people who had unprotected high-risk contact with an infected person can be vaccinated against monkey pox from next week, preferably within four days of the contact. This is reported by Minister of Health Frank Vandenbroucke (Vooruit) on Thursday. If you think you qualify for vaccination, it is best to contact your GP, who can consult with one of the nine reference centers in our country.
