From MLS to Serie A: FC Cincinnati sells Brenner to Udinese Calcio

“Significant transfer”

After Jordan Zemura (23; Bournemouth), Udinese Calcio have signed the second new signing for the coming season. Brazilian striker Brenner comes from MLS club FC Cincinnati in tenth place in Serie A. The 23-year-old has been given a contract until 2028 and is said to cost a basic fee of around 10 million euros, which can increase through bonuses and resale participation.

The sum makes Brenner the most expensive departure from FC Cincinnati, founded in 2015, for whom he has scored 27 goals in 72 games to date. The attacker also ranks seventh among the most expensive MLS sales.
