It is expected that from mid-September every 12-year-old will be able to receive a repeat shot against the corona virus, writes health minister Ernst Kuipers in a letter to the House of Representatives.
First it is healthcare employees with patient contact and people with an increased medical risk and then the rest is allowed. According to Kuipers, the repeat shot is necessary to maintain protection against disease and death.
The cabinet is taking into account a new corona wave in the autumn.
