The Italian provider of “ready-to-drink” cocktails NIO focuses specifically on the fashion trade and is available between the collections from retailers such as Apropos, Lodenfrey and Breuninger. Now the company is also reaching out to brands.
The finished cocktail mixes come in square packaging, which NIO can also tailor to its partners. The company cooperated with the Munich luxury retailer Lodenfrey for a Valentine’s Day campaign in which the packaging was decorated with the two company names and little hearts.
NIO now also offers this approach for brands. The company designs the packaging of a Cosmopolitan or Negroni in the colors and patterns of the current collection and of course also places the brand logo on it. One of these brands is the Bodelshausen clothing supplier Marc Cain, who has brought the animal prints and tones from his collection onto the product.
Brands and retailers not only use the drinks as advertising space and to expand their product range, but also to keep their customers happy and, above all, in the store. Customers of the Italian brand Kiton, which also has stores in Hamburg, Munich and Düsseldorf, are served a NIO cocktail and the shopping experience is enhanced.
