From ice cream truck to hearse: Coach parade passes through Bruges
The Sint-Michiels Festivities Committee can finally unpack with the thirtieth edition of their annual carriage ride right through the center of Bruges. More than 20 coachmen are present and they have brought the most diverse carriages from ice cream carts to hearses. The carriages are ultimately also judged by a jury. They look at, among other things, the originality of the carriage, how the horses are harnessed and whether the coachmen are appropriately dressed. A public award will also be awarded to the arrival at Tillegem Castle.
