Podcast presenter Aleksi Rantamaa, 32, says Isoi Joi podcast the harsh aspects of alcoholism. He has openly reported in public about alcoholism and refreshment.

At the podcast, Rantamaa tells how he once chose his apartment based on how nice it would be to sleep in their bathrooms.

– Now that it says out loud, that sounds crazy, says Rantamaa.

– I have been sleeping for hundreds of nights in the bathroom, in my own way I thought it was quite normal to go.

The reason for the special night’s place was alcohol over use.

– It is quite due to purely pattern. I have come in such a terrible pattern that I have been feeling sick and had to go to bed in the bathroom, Rantamaa explains.

Rantamaa says that at the age of 18-23, he visited the bar several times a week. Usually the memories of the evenings ended in the bar, he had no information on his way home and he always woke up from the bathroom.

– Sometimes I have stated, sometimes not, but I always wake up from the toilet.

Vomiting in the bathroom did not hurt as it was easier to clean and near the toothbrush. One time drunk, even the leather sofa of the beach was carried in the bathroom.

– Now it’s starting to cry a little about how sad that is, Rantamaa says.

Before his refreshment, Rantamaa also tells of the moment when he understood the impact of alcoholism on his loved ones. His mother had arrived from Pori to his son in Helsinki.

– I was sitting on a computer, Mom stands in the middle of the chaos. Unpaid bills, empty beer containers, beer in walls and in bed and everywhere. I see how he looks at that roommate and his son’s space and how he fights against crying, Rantamaa says.

At that moment, he understood how his mother was bad for her. The beach itself was “in the heavy throttle of alcohol,” and could not do anything at that time.

Rantamaa has left alcohol in 2022. The water of the beach was also dealt with In the Alex documentary series.

– I was so bottom and everything was lost. All hope was lost, but now I’m so happy, Rantamaa described in the series.

Recently, Rantamaa updated the happy family news and said that another child was born into the family. Rantamaa received his firstborn in July 2024. In the fall, the beach is seen Special forcesprogram.

In 2023, Aleksi Rantamaa told Iltalehti how sobriety affected life.
