With a 3-0 victory over Young Moldova, Denso Kasius made his debut for the Dutch Juniors. The 19-year-old Bologna player came on for Milan van Ewijk 25 minutes before the end.
In January, Kasius exchanged FC Volendam for Bologna. The right back played seven league games for the Serie A club. In it, he convinced national coach Erwin van de Looi to call him up for the Juniors.
Ajax striker Brian Brobbey scored two goals against Young Moldova tonight. Ex-Ajacied Quinten Timber opened the score in Chisinau during the European Championship qualifying match. After eight games, the Dutch Juniors are at the top of Group E. The group winner and the best number two qualify for next year’s European Championship.
