This weekend Drenthe is all about festivals; the Holland International Blues Festival in Grolloo, the Hello Festival in Emmen, Vacaal Festival in Annen and the art festival Art Explosion in Assen.
And it gets warm to very hot. Protection against the sun and overheating is therefore necessary. What do the festivals do to make it as pleasant as possible for their visitors?
The Hello Festival has installed extra water taps, there are now about fifty to seventy. In addition, the organization informs everyone about sunscreen. Sunscreen can be found all over the festival site, but if you prefer to bring your own sunscreen, you can also bring it with you.
In addition to lubricating and drinking water, additional shaded areas have been created. For example, the organization has placed three tents and the trees will have to provide shade.
The Holland International Blues Festival has a large tent that the organization expects to provide sufficient shade for visitors. In addition, there are parasols that should protect the copper cad.
There are water taps near the toilets where people can fill their own bottles with caps. The organization calls on people to wear caps and to apply sunscreen. The festival allows you to bring your own sunscreen.
The art festival Art Explosion in the Gouverneurstuin in Assen has been completely moved to under the trees. According to the organization, there is enough water in the fridge and there will be a water playground for children, where there is also enough water.
The Vocal Festival in Annen does nothing against the sun. According to the organization, people can look up terraces to find shade or to have a drink to cool off.
