Loud noise Tobi Amusan (12.33) is the champion of the Diamond League Final 2023.
The Nigerian is comfortable at Hayward Field in Eugene, as he won the world championship at the same venue last season.
Amusan’s win was a big blow, because he was on doping ice in the summer.
In July, the International Association of Athletics Federations’ anti-doping body, the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU), announced that Amusan had failed to meet his whereabouts obligations three times in a 12-month period. Athletes who are part of the testing pool must notify one hour and place of each day when they are available for doping testing.
Neglect is considered to be if you are not at the place you indicated during that hour when the doping testers come. You can also get a notice of neglect if you have entered incorrect information into the location information system.
If there are three non-compliance marks during the year, there is a two-year ban from competition. The collar can be reduced to a year if the degree of fault is small.
The board reversed
However, AIU’s disciplinary board overturned Amusan’s temporary suspension during the World Championships and the woman crossed the finish line.
The gig in Budapest was not particularly successful, as the woman was sixth with a time of 12.62. After the World Championships, Amusani had no starts before the Diamond League final.
Second place in the women’s 100-meter hurdles, one of Finns’ favorite sports, in the Diamond League final in Eugene accelerated Jasmine Camacho-Quinn (12.38) and thirdly Kendra Harrison (12.44).
Poland was the only European participating in the competition Pia Skrzyszowska was ranked 8/9 (12.81).
