De Wulf has been an assistant trainer at Cercle for many years and knows the group of players through and through. Originally Cercle hoped for Besnik Hasi as the successor to Feldhofer, but he finally opted for Anderlecht. As a result, green-black had to find a different solution in the short term.
In addition to the appointment of the Wulf, Cercle also welcomes Robin Peter as an assistant coach. The 37-year-old German was head coach at FC Emmen until February this year and previously worked for years as a coach at RB Leipzig, where he had the U19 under his care.
