Turning 40 at the end of February Antti tuisku says that he is seriously jumping into the world of competitive skiing. The man’s goal is to succeed in the World Championship in 2025.

Iltalehti already reported a year ago about Tuisku’s plans for elite sports.

Tuisku said in a press release published on Sunday that he will start Reijo Jylhä guided intensive training towards the top of Finnish skiing. Jylhä is Iltalehti’s skiing expert and the former head coach of the Finnish national skiing team.

– There are more than 700 training hours in the plan. Now we’ll see what can be done in a year or so, and if it’s like this wannabe-athlete can really become an athlete to be taken seriously, Tuisku states in his press release.

Tuisku will represent AT Ski Team, the ski club that bears his name, on the slopes. You can join the club like any other skiing club.

– I want to experience and see what it is like to be a top athlete, Tuisku told Yle’s Sports Studio program on Sunday.

The man said that he is betting on the freestyle skiing competitions. For the first time, the man pulled the strings of that approach four years ago in Val di Fiemme.

– As a skier, I am completely raw, Tuisku admits.

The man assured that he will give skiing his all. Tuisku also said that he wants to find his own mental and physical limits in skiing.

According to Tuisku, he will be seen competing for the first time in early 2025, but the exact schedule is not yet known.

Tuisku wrapped up his handsome music career last July.

Tuisku’s comments on the Urheilustudio program have been added to the story at 1:20 p.m.
