From January 1, 2026, consumers will pay the same everywhere for disposable cups or containers, for example at stations or gas stations. Entrepreneurs currently still determine the price themselves, which leads to uncertainty. That is why the additional price will be 25 euro cents everywhere, reports State Secretary Chris Jansen (Environment).
