Fritz Terbuyken is retiring from the ANWR Group Board of Directors

The ANWR Group will have to do without board member Fritz Terbuyken in the future.

Terbuyken has asked the supervisory board of the trade cooperation to cancel his current contract, the ANWR Group announced on Tuesday. After 15 years with the company, he will leave the company, but will remain available to the company in an advisory capacity until the end of the year.

The group did not give a reason for his departure, but Terbuyken himself describes his career with the ANWR Group as “a valuable, entrepreneurially invigorating time”. In his fifteen years as a board member, he has been instrumental in the development of the group’s associations and has further developed the wholesale business with global footwear and sports brands, the statement said. He was also significantly involved in the implementation of the Order Center O1.

Tobias Eichmeier will take over from Terbuyken. Eichmeier was promoted to the ANWR Group Board of Directors in November. In addition to his role as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), he will take over the duties of his outgoing colleague on June 19.

“The supervisory board would like to thank Fritz Terbuyken for his commitment and the success we had together,” says Holger Baierl, chairman of the supervisory board of the ANWR Group. “We wish him all the best for his future. With Tobias Eichmeier, we were able to recruit a competent and experienced retail manager for our board in November last year, who will now take over Fritz Terbuyken’s responsibilities.”
