Peter Sluiter has been director of the Prison Museum since 2009 and of Museum de Proefkolonie since 2019. His successor is currently deputy director and head of education and presentation at the Museon in The Hague.

it is a special heritage that has rightly acquired the status of Unesco World Heritage. The Netherlands can be proud of this ‘new’ world heritage.”
