Friedrichshafen is missing a victory for the championship

VfB Friedrichshafen also won the second final of the German Volleyball Championship.

Four days after the 3-2 away win, the Baden-Württembergers defeated the Berlin Volleys 3-1 (21:25, 25:23, 25:22, 26:24).

It’s now 2-0 in the best-of-five series. The decision could already be made in the third duel on April 23 in Berlin (6:30 p.m.).

Without Vojin Cacic, who tore his Achilles tendon in the first game, VfB only fell behind at the end of the first set.

In front of around 2000 spectators in Ulm, however, Friedrichshafen came back, advanced 8:4 and saved the lead until the end of the sentence.

In rounds three and four, too, the favorite from the capital rarely lived up to its role and was also unable to use a set ball, so that VfB took another step towards the 14th title.
