Fried rice with asparagus

(For 4 people)

½ dl of sesame oil

1 yellow onion

1 clove of garlic

1 red chili

1 tablespoon light miso paste

5 cm piece of ginger

1 egg

1 l cooked rice (4 dl uncooked rice)

3 tablespoons soy

350 g of shrimp

1 bunch of asparagus

70 g sugar snaps

100 g of spring onions

1 lime peel and juice

1. Boil the rice according to the instructions on the package. Cool the rice. Slice the yellow onion. Chop the garlic clove, red chili and grate the ginger. Cut the asparagus, pea pods and spring onion diagonally into slices. Melt the shrimp.

2. Fry onions, chili and ginger in sesame oil. Stir in the miso paste. Add the egg and mix well. Add the rice and fry until the rice is crispy. Season with soy.

3. Add shrimp, asparagus and pea pods. Cook for a moment. Lastly, add the spring onion and lime peel and juice.
