Andrey Kosogov (was one of the minority shareholders of Alfa-Bank through ABH Holdings) became the largest beneficiary of the bank with a 41% stake, should from the materials of the credit institution.
According to the bank’s information as of March 16, Andrey Kosogov through ABH Holdings now owns 40.96% of the shares instead of 3.7%, Petr Aven’s stake, as before, is 12.4%, Mikhail Fridman’s share also remained the same – 32.9% , UniCredit SpA has 9.9%, and Mark Foundation for Cancer Research has 3.9%.
Andrey Kosogov graduated from the Moscow Power Engineering Institute in 1987. From 1992 to 1998, he held the position of General Director of Alfa Capital Management Company. From 1998 to 2005, he was First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Alfa-Bank and Head of the Investment Block. Kosogov was a member of the board of directors of the AlfaStrakhovanie group, a member of the board of directors of Alfa-Bank, a member of the board of directors of ABH Holdings SA, and a chairman of the board of directors of Alfa Capital Management Company (there is currently no current information on the company’s websites).
