TMZ reports, citing police sources, that Perry was found dead in his Los Angeles home on Saturday afternoon local time. Sources say paramedics responded to what was reported as a cardiac arrest.
TMZ’s sources say Perry apparently drowned. He was found dead in the hot tub. The incident is not believed to be related to a crime, and no drugs were found at the scene.
Perry’s representatives have not confirmed the actor’s death.
The Los Angeles Police Department says The New York Post according to the news release about the investigation into the death of a man in his fifties in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood. The apartment owned by Perry is located in the same area.
